One might be tempted to assume that just keyboards and drums are not enough to produce a hefty sound... but this band housed on the splendid "Topshelf Records" label prove this assumption wrong. Carly Comando's keyboards - frequently e-piano sounds with a heavy overdrive - enter an ideal symbiosis with Tom Patterson's groovy drums, and are led to perfection by the vocals contributed by Carly Comando as well. Favorite track: Never Hear.

andrew wilson a great synth punk/emo album full of emotional anthems with a poetic vibe. this album proves slingshot dakota are probably the best duo working in the genre today. Favorite track: Rasta Bacca.
